Art of the Americas at The Brooks Museum of Art: October 27, 2011

The Art of the Americas exhibit at the Brooks Museum featured many artworks from Central and South American cultures. I found it interesting because I could connect in a way, and it is fascinating to learn about one's culture and get a feel of how art was used back in that time. Some of the more interesting things in the exhibit were the mini figurines. They were crafted so well, and each one had details that show the time that went into making the piece of artwork. There was not much information to go along with the work, but it really was neat to sea all of the different types of artwork that was there.
